California Engineer

     Professional research journals offer a variety of publishing opportunities to graduate students and researchers. Unfortunately, these opportunities often are generally not open to undergraduates. The goal at California Engineer is to offer such publishing opportunities to undergraduate engineers from the University of California system. CE strives to create a professional quality publication and to encourage UC students (from all disciplines) to submit articles in some engineering-related topic to the magazine.

     Whether applying to graduate school or for full-time employment, publishing experience will really stand out. The California Engineer has grown tremendously since its start almost 80 years ago. With the addition of a strong business staff, they are taking great strides to improve visibility, readership, and interest among students throughout the University of California system.

     We are reaching out to students around the UC system to increase our exposure and to encourage students from UC Berkeley and other campuses to submit their work.
